We visited southern California and saw friends and relatives from Long Beach to Granada Hills and Santa Barbara in early January. Phoenix is 2 and growing fast. Long-time friends Al and Cynthia Muir showed us Long Beach and a favorite New Port Beach restaurant. Then we stayed in Granada Hills and visited Aunt Norma Hoel and her family and cousins Mark and family. Next we wet to see grandson Phoenix and Lisa in Santa Barbara and thoroughly enjoyed the warm sunny southern California weather.
